About
OUR STORY.
A man whose path was never laid out in advance, who grew up surrounded by obstacles even before I was born. My biological father was violent toward my mother while she was pregnant with me and my brother. At 7 years old, another man did the same to her. We had to run, start over again and again. I grew up in instability and poverty always moving, changing schools, even living in a women’s shelter. Very early on, I understood: no one was coming to save me. I had to become a man on my own.But if there’s one force that has always carried me, it’s my mother. She never gave up. Despite everything, she fought to give us a better life. She’s a warrior and that’s where I get my inner strength. She taught me that no matter how many hits life throws at you, you keep moving forward. If Warriors Mind exists today, it’s also to give her the life she truly deserves.
I’ve faced other challenges too: ADHD, mild dysphasia, learning and communication difficulties. In school, I was placed in a special program (CPC) that I completed in one year instead of three, earning a Méritas trophy. I dropped out in Grade 10, but I went on to complete two professional training programs, proving that traditional school doesn’t define your value or potential. Then came the downfall… Drugs, alcohol, junk food, anxiety, low self-esteem, fear of judgment. In 2018, I lost my driver’s license for drunk driving. For six years, I spiraled. I made bad choices mistakes I’m not proud of and did things that could’ve cost me everything. But today, I am no longer that man.I’m the one who chose to stand back up.
I’ve been sober since April 1st, 2024.I chose training, discipline, and self-improvement.In 2023, at one of the darkest moments of my life broke and trapped in addiction I decided to create Warriors Mind Sportswear. A brand for warriors. For those who fight not only in sport, but in everyday life. For those who keep pushing forward, who refuse to break, and who want to wear an armor that reflects their true identity.Today, I live in Val-d’Or. I arrived here with nothing but a suitcase and determination. I work underground in the mines as a truck operator. I train regularly, stay disciplined, and continue transforming myself every day. It’s not always easy, but I never give up. I keep going.
My mission today: Move forward and inspire.I want to inspire my family, my friends, and anyone going through storms. Life will test you but it’s up to you to decide whether you stay down or rise again. No matter where you come from, no matter your past, as long as you want to change, there’s always a way forward.I am a warrior. I keep moving forward. And one day, when I succeed, I’ll give my mother everything she deserves.
Because she’s also the reason why I fight.
